The survey and analysis of the participating companies is conducted in cooperation with Itim International. The evaluation of organizations’ multiculturalism is conducted through a survey based on Professor Hofstede’s work on Organizational Culture.
Each organization will provide a list of employees who will answer to the survey. To guarantee the scientific reliability of the analysis, it is recommended that the number of respondents represent 10-20% of organisation’s workforce, recommended minimum number of respondents is 10. The respondents should represent different levels in the organization.
The survey will consist of 46 statements regarding workplace practices and how participants observe these practices. The analysis takes into account how the answers of the respondents vary over these statements and matches the results with tendencies measured within other organisations in itim International’s analysis database. The end results present organizations with an insight into how likely their workforce is of accepting those that look, act and think differently.
Itim will analyse the results using the Hofstede Multi-Focus Model and give points to each participant in each of the six dimensions. Each participating company gets a personal report which provides insight on the extent their organisational culture supports the inclusion of other cultures. The language of the report is English.
