What is mentoring?
Mentoring is a two-way process that can offer both parties a valuable path to learning and sharing. Mentoring is based on mutual interaction, in which professionally more experienced mentor shares his or her experience and directs and assists in the professional development of a mentee. The primary aim is to develop the mentee’s professional networks and familiarity with Finnish working life and culture, and to improve mentee’s job application skills. Mentor is under no obligation to provide employment for the mentee.
During the programme, mentors will have the opportunity to learn from different cultures and generations, improve self-assessment skills, and exchange information and experiences with other mentors and mentees.
